As one phase ends, another exciting one begins. This month I officially pass the torch to our new CEO and take on a new challenge as iSnap's CTO.

I founded iSnap four years ago with an idea conceptualized on the back of a tiny airplane napkin. Today the company has over 450 corporate customers and has touched over 250,000,000 consumers.

In the winter of 2013, I was introduced to Bob Whitson, a veteran entrepreneur and CEO who became a mentor to me. Bob is talented and charismatic and I continue to learn from him.

Bob's mentorship quickly evolved into a full time position on the iSnap management team and it soon became clear that he was the right person to take the company to the next phase of growth.

As CEO, one of my top jobs is to recruit the best team possible and Bob was someone we needed in a permanent role. He brings skills and experience in scaling companies and most of all he was a natural fit with the staff.

My final big act before handing over the reigns was to sign the docs that closed our Series A financing. This financing will allow us to accelerate our sales and marketing efforts and invest in next generation products.

In my role as CTO I will spend more time doing two things I'm very passionate about - evangelizing the company vision and building products that realize that vision. Every day I see the team grow and the company get stronger under Bob's command and that is very exciting.
