I have been a founding CEO of three companies; two successful, one crash and burned. The greatest personal development for me was learning to delegate. My time would often become consumed by adding too many tasks to my to do list.

As I would find myself overwhelmed by all of the activities I would need step back and recalibrate, remembering that I have three fundamental jobs:

  1. Recruit the best team possible and empower them
  2. Create and evangelize the corporate vision
  3. Fundraise, fundraise, fundraise
